Far Cry 2 is an action-packed FPS that puts your character in the middle of a bloody civil war that you must bring to an end.
Far Cry 2 came out just a few years after the release of the initial title in the series, and it is an excellent first-person shooter that puts you in a dynamic world. When you first start the game, you are going to create a character who is going to be thrown into a deadly civil war. As you explore the massive gameworld, you are going to come across a wide variety of characters who can help you along the way.
The open-world gameplay in Far Cry 2 is what truly sets this game apart, and it is an excellent option for those who are tired of linear campaigns. Instead of targeting specific strongholds, you must wander around the gameworld looking for a mysterious figure known as the Jackal. That individual is selling arms to both sides of the civil war to keep the conflict going, and your goal is to take him out.
Along the way, you are going to run across “buddy” characters, and those individuals can help you find clues, upgrade your weapons, and even teach you the mechanics of the game. While the graphics are outdated, this is still a high-quality game that is going to provide you with hours of fun.
